The Paso Food Co-op (PFC) is looking for a volunteer Social Media Coordinator.
Are you passionate about local, healthy and amazing food? Do you want to support the local economy more?
We are looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator to create and maintain a strong online presence for the PFC. Although this position is volunteer, we would respect your time and ability to contribute. We see this taking less than 2 hours per week. We also feel this is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their resume and showcase their work. Many of our volunteer’s efforts have led to paid work through networking with the PFC.

- Research audience preferences and discover current trend
- Create engaging text, image and video content
- Design posts to support current campaigns
- Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries, or direct them to the appropriate party
- Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and Competitions
