Newsletter Coordinator
The Paso Food Co-op (PFC) is looking for a volunteer Newsletter Coordinator.
Are you passionate about local, healthy and amazing food? Do you want to support the local economy more?
We are looking for a volunteer Newsletter Coordinator to create the PRFC’s monthly newsletter. We prefer a Member-Owner in good standing of Paso Food Co-op. www.pasofoodcooperative.com/join-now You will be responsible for compiling information from our meetings and events to share with our newsletter list.
We have been sending newsletters out once a month but ideally it would be twice a month. We use Mailchimp & Canva so it's an easy to use system.
Responsibilities could include…
Although this position is volunteer, we would respect your time and ability to contribute. You would always be working with the team. Time spent on this project but shouldn't exceed a couple hours per week. We also feel this is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their resume and showcase their work. Many of our volunteer’s efforts have led to paid work through networking with the PFC. Plus, our events are at some pretty amazing businesses around the county.

- Attending the monthly Co-op Meeting
- Compiling the information and events into Mail Chimp
- Sourcing appropriate photos and logos
- Sending a proof to the steering committee for review
- Sending out 1-2 newsletters per month
