You might be surprised to learn our volunteers only consist of a handful of people. To grow our membership, we need to also grow our volunteer group! The fastest way for us to get a community-owned grocery store stocked full of local products is to get more volunteers to spread the word.
How would you like to help the co-op?
Invite co-workers, friends, and family to join the co-op!
Event set up, clean up, and attendance.
Help at a farmers market, festival, or event booth.
Host an event at your business, host a networking event in the agriculture, wine, or local industry, or introduce us to someone you think might be able to help the co-op.
Assemble and deliver new member packages.
Make phone calls on behalf of the co-op.
Deliver postcards and posters. We always need help keeping them stocked and finding new places where we can distribute them.
Contribute to mailings, organize information, and any other administrative tasks.
Post about co-op events and create and share social media posts.
Become a committee member! We have Steering, Marketing & Outreach, and Business committees. We typically have several meetings per month.
Share your skills!!! Are you an expert in a field you feel like you could help us in? We would love to hear from you!
If you are interested in volunteering, we ask that you attend any one of our next meetings. Every fourth Wednesday at 6pm, Facebook & Instagram for updates We will meet in the Community Room at Oak Creek Commons (635 Nicklaus St) near Pat Butler elementary school, not far from Niblick & S. River Road. This is inside the complex, best to park on Nicklaus. We look forward to seeing you there!
