James Shannon
Member-Owner, President/Board Chair
James Shannon was born and raised in Northern San Luis Obispo County. He is a 2007 graduate of Atascadero High School and continued his education at Cuesta College before transferring to CSU, Monterey Bay where he received a B.S. in Business Administration. Currently, James works as a software consultant assisting his customers with implementing manufacturing ERP/MES systems. He also runs a small business creating handmade leather products under the name Ravenlore Goods.
He lives in Paso Robles with his fiancé, Ali, and their golden retriever, Kinley. During his free time he enjoys pursuing his many hobbies including home gardening, astrophotograpny, and leather crafting. The two of them also love to frequent the amazing restaurants and wineries that Paso has to offer. He joined the coop in 2018 because he is passionate about supporting small businesses and shopping local whenever possible. He strongly believes that this is an essential part of building community. The future coop will fulfill this desire for himself and many likeminded individuals in the area.
